4. Exterior Environment: System components

installed in locations exposed to weather

shall be rated for continuous operation in

ambients of

0 to plus 122 deg F (minus 18 to

plus 50 deg C)

dry bulb and 20 to 90 percent

relative humidity, condensing. Comply with

UL 294 and UL 639 for outdoor-use equipment.

Rate for continuous operation when exposed

to rain as specified in NEMA 250, winds up

85 mph (137 km/h) and snow cover up to 24

inches

(610 mm) thick.

1.9 WARRANTY

A. Special Warranty: Manufacturer's standard form

in which manufacturer and Installer agree to

repair or replace intercom, access control, and

intrusion detection devices and equipment that

fails in materials or workmanship within

specified warranty period.

B. Warranty Period: Minimum two (2) years from date

of Substantial Completion.
